Condition: Very good vintage condition. The chrome shows light wear and patina in places consistent with age. Small holes are present on the rear tubular frame where a previous owner had installed an additional backrest element. The chairs have been fully restored and reupholstered in original vintage chartreuse fabric sourced in Spain.
A striking set of six vintage Orix dining chairs from the 1970s, featuring tubular chrome frames and newly upholstered chartreuse seats. Each chair has been carefully restored and upholstered in authentic deadstock chartreuse fabric dating to the 1970s, sourced in Spain. The vivid upholstery beautifully complements the polished chrome frames while preserving the character of the set.
The design is attributed to Vittorio Parigi and Nanni Prina for Molteni, although these examples are unmarked and we are unable to confirm their exact manufacturer. Their construction, proportions, and detailing closely follow the iconic Orix models associated with the designers.
