The story
A compact 1970s clip-on lamp by the Spanish brand Fase, with its body made entirely of metal in a chrome finish. The cylindrical shade tilts on a bracket stamped "fase-Madrid Spain" and locks in place with a knurled knob, while a coiled spring sheaths the cable as it curves from the clamp into the back of the shade. The spring clamp, with its black grip pads, holds the lamp on the edge of a desk, shelf or bedside table.
The lamp is in very good condition. The black plastic end cap at the back of the shade has a repair that is barely visible from the outside, and light marks on the chrome can be seen in the detail photographs. In our workshop the wiring and electrical connections were checked, and all the chrome was cleaned and polished.
Condition passport
Very good. The black plastic end cap at the back of the shade has a repair that is barely visible from the outside. Light marks and fine scratches to the chrome are visible in the photographs.
